InterWave Studios is currently looking for a 3D Environment/Prop Artist to work on our next gen PC/Console game using the Source engine.
Have you always dreamed of a career in game development, we’ll show you just how difficult and gruelling the work really is, in exchange for inordinate amounts of your private life, which will be held hostage, as part of our standard contract.
Our current project sports several salaried positions from September 2009 onwards, but we’re looking for 3D wizards who can’t wait, and want to join in the fun now.
Our ideal candidate is as follows:
- Strong knowledge of 3D Studio Max 9/2008 with a strong portfolio and a passion for games.
- Good Knowledge of unwrapping in your chosen 3D application, as well as Adobe Photoshop CS2/CS3.
- Your portfolio will show work samples of textured models that are gritty and realistic – as well as sensible, game ready poly counts.
- Knowledge of Valve’s Source™ engine and it’s compile tools, as well as sketching and basic concept skills are both a bonus.
Above all, we want our candidates to be enthusiastic about working in a team, under pressure, with a burning passion for games and graphically stunning content. The position can be occupied remotely provided that excellent communication is maintained.
