Members of the InterWave Studio staff come from numerous places around the globe, including the Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Norway. Each of our members has a dedication for quality gaming and as we always say “We are up for it”. Every person part of our team has been part of another mod or game team before like: Insurgency, HL2:CTF, Firearms-Source, Nuclear Dawn and many others, the InterWave roots are deep within the community.
Management - Managing Director
Michiel Beenen is the Managing Director of InterWave. Internet entrepreneur and online gaming enthusiast, Michiel started the Steam Friends community through a combination of his passion for bringing friends together online to game, and his support of the remarkable experience users get from source engine products. Michiel has worked on far too many online projects to list in this bio, but is a long time active member of the games development community. His time in the trenches of gaming, along with a keen business mind, makes him one of the driving forces of InterWave.

Management - Finance Director
Alan’s passion is seeking and developing new opportunities. From technology and business to finance and gaming, Alan is always looking to expand his horizons with new projects and goals. His key ability is drive: he will set off to accomplish a goal, and he’ll only stop pushing for it once it’s been completed satisfactorily, and it’s allowed him to enjoy the pleasure of a successfully launched project, where others had given up.

Having worked on all kinds of development projects Floris joined InterWave in 2012 to continue the development of new titles and to help work on existing games.

After working on several Source based projects like SourceMod, SteamBans, HL2 mods and a lot more, Nicholas decided to join the InterWave team to help out with the development of projects like Nuclear Dawn. He is a very talented coder who always finds a way to make code better, no matter how good we thought it was.

Michael adds considerable artistic credibility to our team, through his ability to wield an impressive range of illustration techniques. That means lots of pretty pixels, people!

Management - General Manager
With an extensive background in wasting entire years of his life playing games and then talking about them, Igor brings a smidgeon of industry experience, and a whole lot of hard core old school gaming attitude. If your levels suddenly go 8 bit, you know who to thank. Or blame.

Management - Lead Level Designer
Prior to joining InterWave, Jeroen has been working as one of the lead level designers for Insurgency (a well known HL2 mod). Jeroen is now responsible for the new levels being setup for our upcoming game projects and is leading the level design department. He is a hard worker and is always in for some ‘music’ or ‘gaming’ fun with Michiel.

After working on Stargate: The Last stand and being an active developer in the game development world for both sound and code, Louis joined our team in 2012 to work on new projects.
