After many hours of mapping, bug fixing, and filming throughout all last week we are happy, and proud, to announce the first in a series of 4 pre-release trailers that will run up until the 25th of December, 2008. For those of you who don't know how to read a calendar that would be Christmas.
Along with this trailer we are releasing a number of screenshots from abydos, as well as screenshots from maps that are current works in progress, Erebus from Jeroen 'Xanthi' van Werkhoven, Lockdown (SGC) from Ben 'MajorC4' Palmer and Brecht 'Brechtos' Lecluyse, and Nahautl from Louis 'Foeaxe' Deane. This trailer is a demonstration of of the beautiful map Abydos created by our very own Brecht 'Brechtos' Lecluyse and the wondrous game play it provides. We have also included some of our final weapon loadouts. Without further adieu here is the trailer, we included a sneaky little surprise, see if you can spot it.

They'll be a nice little Chiropracter mini-game to deal with the Jaffa's back injuries? I'm assuming that's why they have that whole hunched over look about them? Or can they just not bear to look at people as they kill them these days?
Apart from that (no idea how I missed it before) - the things looking quite good. Looking forward to whatever comes after pre-release trailers. I doubt any of us are naive enough to expect an actual release then :P
Well the date is set in stone. That particular jaffa looks odd because his helmet is parented to his spine, they even look odd in the series, the normal jaffa look a lot better.
ok, there are just soldiers, they look like the player models from SGRP , and it's not the sg-1 team...we will see sg-1 in next trailers?
interesting because SGRP didnt have any playermodels :D.
and no SG-1 will not be featured in TLS and this has been explained for years. you will see more and more in the coming trailers, we can't give it all away now can we ;)

WOOT!! i can't wait, what is the suprise? Is it the Ha'tak floating above the pyramid? Or was it the three seconds of play as the jaffa?
